The lesson “Choosing Godly Friends” teaches children about the importance of healthy and compassionate relationships and establishing rewarding connections with individuals and groups inside and outside the church family. The children will learn at least three qualities that indicate Godly character potential in friends. The children will also learn to identify at least three qualities that would indicate someone does not possess Godly character. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 22nd lesson in the 2nd Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Social Relationships” unit.
