God Calls Moses

The lesson “God Calls Moses” teaches children about how God called on Moses but that he thought the job God gave him was too hard. The children will describe a way God might use them in a special way someday and will ask God to speak to them and practice listening for His voice. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 16th lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “God’s Special People” unit.
