The lesson “Poultry Nutrition, Disease, and Disease Prevention” teaches children more about raising healthy chickens. They will learn and list the symptoms of local poultry diseases and explain prevention methods. The children will also identify poultry nutrition needs and local resources for those. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 9-11 years, and is the 43rd lesson in the 2nd Year “Poultry” unit.
