The Core Curriculum for children between the ages of 6 and 8 includes the second year of 46 individual lessons to help develop the children spiritually, as they learn about God’s love, His promises, and His plan for their lives through well-known Bible stories. Ultimately, the children will be able to demonstrate commitment to the Lordship of Christ and reflect on a Christian worldview in thinking. Lessons include stories from both the Old Testament and the New Testament, focusing on “God Made Everything,” “God Builds a Nation,” and “God Sends a Savior” as lesson unit content. Each lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner.
